Dr. Mina Sedrak is a compassionate and esteemed physician-scientist who specializes in caring for adults affected by breast cancer. Dr. Sedrak serves as an associate professor of medicine and is the director of the Cancer and Aging Program at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA.

Dr. Sedrak's passion lies in improving the health and well-being of cancer patients and survivors. He is dedicated to providing comprehensive and personalized care that supports patients through every step of their breast cancer journey.

In his role as director of the Cancer and Aging Program, Dr. Sedrak leads a pioneering research effort that explores the complex relationship between aging and cancer. His ultimate aim is to develop innovative treatments that empower patients to lead longer, healthier, and more vibrant lives, addressing the unique challenges posed by age and cancer treatment.

Dr. Sedrak's educational journey includes academic achievements from the University of Chicago, Rush Medical College, and specialized training in internal medicine and hematology/oncology at the University of Pennsylvania. He furthered his expertise with a Masters in Health Policy from the same institution. Before joining UCLA, Dr. Sedrak served as an associate professor at the City of Hope, where he made significant contributions to the Department of Medical Oncology and Therapeutics Research and acted as the deputy director of the Center for Cancer and Aging.
