Banana Peanut Butter Oatmeal

  • ¼ cup rolled oats
  • ½ cup almond milk
  • 1 scoop vanilla (or unflavored) protein powder
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • 1 small banana, mashed
  • 2 tbsp creamy peanut butter
  • ½ tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tbsp ground flax seed (optional)
  • 1 tbsp chia seed (optional)
  • 1-2 squares dark chocolate (optional)


  1. Add oatmeal, almond milk, protein powder and salt to a small saucepan. Bring to a boil and lower heat to simmer until oatmeal is cooked (this happens quickly due to the low volume of oatmeal).
  2. Mash banana, peanut butter and vanilla extract in a bowl until combined. Stir in cooked oatmeal and top with flax, chia and chocolate (if using).
