Dr. Jonathan Flint, professor-in-residence of psychiatry and biobehavioral sciences and a senior scientist at the Center for Neurobehavioral Genetics at the Jane and Terry Semel Institute for Neuroscience and Human Behavior at UCLA, was named a fellow of the Royal Society, the national science academy of the United Kingdom.
Dr. Gregg Fonarow (MD ’87, RES ’90, FEL ’93), Eliot Corday Chair in Cardiovascular Medicine and Science and director of the Ahmanson-UCLA Cardiomyopathy Center, received the 2019 Lifetime Achievement Award from the American Heart Association’s Council on Quality of Care and Outcomes Research.

Dr. Keith Nuechterlein, Distinguished Professor of Psychiatry and Biobehavioral Sciences and director of the Aftercare Program in the Jane and Terry Semel Institute for Neuroscience and Human Behavior at UCLA, received the 2019 Outstanding Clinical/Community Research Award from the Schizophrenia International Research Society.
Dr. Antoni Ribas (FEL ’98, ’01), professor of medicine and director of the tumor immunology program at the UCLA Jonsson Comprehensive Cancer Center and the Parker Institute for Cancer Immunotherapy Center at UCLA, received the Thought Leader Award from Agilent Technologies.
