Dr. Jean-Francois Pittet gave Grand Rounds on July 17. The Editor-in-Chief of Anesthesia & Analgesia, predicts that in 10 to 15 years, the peer review process as we know it will change dramatically, and "it will be all open access online." He offered practical tips for authors seeking to have their research published, and discussed ways that A&A is evolving to be more inviting and user-friendly for readers. (Photo: Drs. On the lovely sunny evening of June 21, our 2018-19 residents and fellows celebrated their graduation at the UCLA Faculty Center. This year’s class includes 23 graduating residents and 20 fellows who completed training in seven different subspecialty areas. They were joined by family, friends, and faculty members for a lively reception and dinner, capped by two highly entertaining videos starring members of our department.
