The nationally ranked UCLA Division of Cardiology is home to groundbreaking research in heart failure and transplant cardiology, cardiac electrophysiology, cardiovascular imaging, cardiac repair and regeneration, cellular and molecular cardiology, environmental cardiology, and much more. Cardiology faculty and mentees conduct clinical, translational and basic science research that informs guideline development, national policy and new treatments for heart conditions. The division offers intensive scholarship training through Specialty Training and Advanced Research track of the UCLA Cardiology Fellowship Program, which culminates in a Masters of Clinical Research degree or a PhD.
