Radiotherapy and Artificial Intelligence Integrated Clinical and Research Fellowship

The Department of Radiation Oncology at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA currently seeks applicants at the Clinical Instructor rank for a one-year Radiotherapy and Artificial Intelligence Integrated Clinical and Research Fellowship Program opportunity under the supervision of Drs. Ricky Savjani and Robert Chin in the Department of Radiation Oncology at UCLA, Los Angeles, CA. The individual should have a strong interest in radiation oncology with external beam radiation therapy. The candidate will spend a mixture of time working in a robust, multidisciplinary clinical setting, as well as conducting research in computational oncology. The ideal candidate will have a dedication to clinical excellence, as well as computational and translational research productivity. Experience in python, SQL, R, and deep learning frameworks is highly encouraged.

Preferred Eligibility Requirements:

  • Completion of an accredited ACGME/RCPSC Medical Radiation Oncology program (Preferred)
  • California Medical License – Full licensure eligibility (Preferred)
  • Prior clinical experience in Radiation Oncology (strongly preferred)

Minimum Eligibility Requirements:

  • Completion of MD, PhD or MD/PhD at the time of matriculation into the fellowship
  • Prior research experience in Radiation Oncology, particularly in computational oncology

Fellowship accepts 1 position per year. Applications are accepted continuously each year until the position is filled.
