Drs. Litwin & Saigal - UCLA Urology receives prestigious research funding for prostate cancer. UCLA Urology received two significant grants that directly assist men diagnosed with prostate cancer. The state awarded $9.3 million to support the IMPACT program thatprovides prostate cancer treatment for uninsured and underinsured men in California. The Patient-Centered Outcomes Research Institute awarded $1.9 million to fund research on ways to improve the decision-making process for men diagnosed with prostate cancer.
