Patient Referrals to UCLA Aortic Center

Our partnership with health professionals in the community is key to our success at UCLA Health. It is our goal to assist you with referring a patient to UCLA and getting access to our continuing medical education program. Registered nurses and referral coordinators are available to assist referring physicians and case managers access services at UCLA Health and/or immediately transfer care through the Aortic Center phone line 310-267-8234 (310-AORTAFIX). Our physicians are also available for a one-on-one phone or online consultation to discuss patient cases as they arise. Urgent Referral

If you are a physician or his/her representative, please contact our referral number at 310-267-8234 (310-AORTAFIX) or the individual physician's office. If a prompt response is not received, please contact the UCLA Page Operator at 310-825-6301 and request the Transfer Center or call the UCLA Transfer Center directly at 310-825-0909. Make sure you state it is an acute aortic emergency. Transfer requests will be fulfilled immediately.

Hospital-to-Hospital Transfer

The UCLA Transfer Center may be able to further assist in facilitating transfers to the Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center. Transfer requests will be fulfilled immediately. To reach the UCLA Transfer Center call 310-825-0909.
