Training Tracks

We offer two training tracks. Our Academic Research track that provides fellows a longitudinal, mentored research training experience that will prepare them for careers as independently-funded investigators. Our Clinical Scholar track is a two-year program that is structured for fellows who aspire to more clinically-oriented careers in general and transplant infectious diseases, HIV medicine, viral hepatitis, public health, epidemiology, antibiotic stewardship, and infection control.

Training Sites

Our fellows rotate at five primary sites, including Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center, UCLA Santa Monica Medical Center, the VA Greater Los Angeles Health Care System, Olive View-UCLA Medical Center, and Cedars-Sinai Medical Center with a wide variety of inpatient and outpatient experiences.
