The UCLA Multicampus Program in Infectious Diseases offers two main training tracks:

Team of doctors
  • Academic research track designed to train the next generation of physician-scientists
  • Clinical scholar track that prepares fellows for more clinically-oriented careers in academia and beyond. There is also a sub-track that provides a concentrated antimicrobial stewardship and hospital epidemiology focus in year two.

We also offer training experiences in infectious diseases as they pertain to transplant/immunocompromised host, not only within the two primary tracks but also within an advanced clinical year for those who have completed an ACGME-accredited fellowship who desire more training in this arena.

There are also opportunities for combined training in preventive medicine and infectious diseases through a 3-year combined track.
