Dr. Jessica Bernacki is a licensed clinical psychologist. She received her Ph.D. from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee in 2012. She completed her pre-doctoral internship in pediatric and clinical child psychology at UCLA in the Department of Psychiatry and Biobehavioral Sciences at the David Geffen School of Medicine. Dr. Bernacki completed her postdoctoral fellowship in pediatric psychology at Stanford University in the Department of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and at Lucile Packard Children's Hospital.
Dr. Bernacki is a Staff Psychologist in the Department of Medicine at the UCLA Medicine-Pediatrics Comprehensive Care Center (MPCCC). She joined the MPCCC integrated primary care team in 2013. Her clinical and research interests include the delivery of evidence-based behavioral health services in the primary care setting, adjustment to chronic illness, the transition from pediatric to adult care healthcare, and transgender health. She has served as the behavioral health director for the UCLA Gender Health Program since it was founded in 2016. She is also the staff psychologist for the Pediatric Psychiatry Consultation-Liaison Service at the UCLA Medical Center, Santa Monica.
