About Interstitial Lung Disease Center

The Interstitial Lung Disease Center is an integrated, multidisciplinary regional referral center that provides comprehensive state-of-the-art evaluation and treatment of patients with interstitial lung disease (ILD). The center’s physicians and staff communicate directly with patients and their referring doctors to ensure continuity of care and appropriate follow-up. For patients and families, The center offers seminars on interstitial lung disease and offers a support group for patients and their families. The center has active clinical and basic-research programs investigating the pathogenesis of ILD and new approaches to the treatment of these disabling diseases. The center’s physicians are internationally recognized for their contributions to understanding ILD and to the advancement of therapy to improve and prolong life for patients with these conditions.

The Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation has a assembled a list of medical centers that have experience and expertise in treating patients with fibrotic lung disease and are dedicated to improving the lives of those living with PF. Pulmonary fibrosis management can be complex. The PFF Care Center Network (CCN) provides the necessary resources for patients to obtain medical expertise and specialized staff to fully manage their disease. CCN sites embrace a multidisciplinary approach that delivers comprehensive patient care. Experts including those in pulmonary medicine, rheumatology, radiology and pathology, all specializing in interstitial lung disease, comprise the care team at each CCN site.
