Pageant queens to visit UCLA pediatric patients for 'Day of Tiaras and Toys'

WHAT:
Miss California USA Nicole Johnson and Miss California Teen USA Emma Baker will visit patients at UCLA Mattel Children's Hospital, bringing smiles to the youngsters' faces and delivering tiaras for the girls and toys for the boys, provided by Mattel Inc. 
 
As the reigning winners of the Miss California and Miss California Teen competitions, Johnson and Baker are dedicated to volunteering their time in the community to help improve the lives of others. This special event is arranged by Mattel Inc. and the Reality Cares Foundation.

BACKGROUND:
A longtime partner of UCLA Mattel Children's Hospital, Mattel Inc. has donated more than $30 million, as well as thousands of toys and volunteer hours, through the years to help make a meaningful difference in the lives of children in need. The Reality Cares Foundation (www.realitycares.org) is a national organization that has been helping celebrities give back and raise money for nonprofits for more than six years. The Miss California USA and Miss California Teen USA competitions are part of the Miss Universe organization, an international company that advances and supports today's women.
