A rewarding volunteer opportunity awaits those who want to provide compassion and warmth by assisting patients and family members within the Volunteer Services Department of the UCLA Health.

the front desk at the Ronald
Reagan UCLA Medical Center.
New volunteers are needed to serve at the Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center, UCLA Mattel Children's Hospital, and Resnick Neuropsychiatric Hospital at UCLA in Westwood, and the Santa Monica UCLA Medical Center and Orthopeadic Hospital.  Bilingual individuals who speak both English and Spanish are especially needed to volunteer.

Unique opportunities are available in a variety of departments including patient care, emergency rooms, admissions, information desks, outpatient clinics, gift shops and many more.

Volunteers must commit to at least four hours per week. An orientation and training are provided to help volunteers become valuable members of the UCLA Health team.

The UCLA Health's Volunteer Services department will host an Open House in Santa Monica on April 14 from 3 to 4 p.m., and in Westwood on April 22 from 2 - 3 p.m.  Reservations are required.

For more information about the upcoming Open House sessions or general volunteer inquiries at the Westwood branch please call (310) 267-8180, or for Santa Monica call (310) 319-3580.
