Diabetes and endocrinologic disorders are increasingly common in reproductive aged individuals and in pregnancy. Our physicians are experts in the care of pregnancies affected by the spectrum of endocrine disorders, including diabetes, metabolic, thyroid, hypothalamic, pituitary, parathyroid, adrenal, pancreatic, bone, and endocrine cancer disorders.  To ensure the healthiest pregnancies, our care begins pre-conception, in conjunction with your endocrine team, and continues until the postpartum and inter-pregnancy period.

Conditions We Treat in Pregnancy

  • Adrenal disorders insufficiency/Addison’s; overactivity/Cushing’s, congenital adrenal hyperplasia
  • Diabetes mellitus: Gestational, type 1 diabetes, type 2 diabetes
  • Disorders of sexual development
  • Pancreas: Type 1 diabetes, Cystic fibrosis-related diabetes
  • Parathyroid: hyperparathyroidism
  • Pituitary disorders: hypopituitary, hyperprolactinemia, prolactinoma (micro or macro), acromegaly, diabetes insipidus, growth hormone deficiency
  • Polycystic ovary syndrome
  • Thyroid disorders: hypothyroidism, Hashimoto’s, hyperthyroidism, Graves, nodules
