CORE Kidney at UCLA Health is proud to be recognized as a PKD Foundation-Certified Center of Excellence, a distinction awarded to programs that demonstrate excellence in diagnosing, treating, educating, and researching polycystic kidney disease (PKD). This designation reflects our commitment to delivering comprehensive, multidisciplinary care for individuals and families living with Autosomal Dominant Polycystic Kidney Disease (ADPKD).
Led by Clinical Chief of Nephrology, Anjay Rastogi, MD, PhD, the CORE Kidney PKD Center of Excellence brings together experts across multiple specialties to provide coordinated, personalized care to each patient's needs. Our team includes specialists in nephrology, genetics, transplantation, hepatology, radiology, neurosurgery, mental health, nutrition, and other disciplines dedicated to improving the lives of people affected by PKD.
As a PKD Center of Excellence, we combine outstanding clinical care with innovative research, patient education, and community engagement. Patients have access to the latest treatment options, clinical trials, supportive services, and educational resources throughout every stage of their kidney health journey.
