Eric Kwok
Director
Eric’s primary responsibilities include redesigning care pathways, implementing process and quality improvements, and assessing return on investment. He brings experience in analytics and data analysis. He earned a B.A. in English and Political Science from the University of California, Berkeley.
Courtney Ellenson, BS
Specialist
Courtney joins UCLA with 8 years of consulting experienced focused on business process mapping, technology implementation, and program management. She graduated from Boston University with a B.S. in Biomedical Engineering and a concentration in Technology Innovation. While in the consulting industry she focused on driving patient experience transformations at regional and national healthcare systems. Courtney now joins the ValU Care Redesign team as a Value Improvement Specialist. She enjoys skiing, spending time at the beach, and attending concerts.
Jiaying Gallati, MPH, MDiv
Specialist
Jiaying joins UCLA Health with 10+ years of project and program experience in healthcare, academic, and tech settings, as well as frontline care experience as a hospital chaplain. Jiaying holds a M.P.H. in healthcare management from UCLA and a M.Div. from Harvard Divinity School. She started her career as a disability case manager and helpdesk analyst before pursuing chaplaincy and healthcare management. She’s passionate about improving system processes that impact frontline care quality. She enjoys spending quality time with family, reading, and thrift shopping.
Chay Zhu, MS, CPHQ
Senior Specialist
Chay's primary responsibilities include data analysis and care pathway redesign. She has held various roles within the UCLA Health System and brings experience in managing clinical operations, research, data analytics, and project management. Chay earned a B.S. in Health Science Administration from San Jose State University and an M.S. in Health Care Management from California State University, Los Angeles.
