Eric Kwok
Director
Eric’s primary responsibilities include redesigning care pathways, implementing process and quality improvements, and assessing return on investment. He brings experience in analytics and data analysis. He earned a B.A. in English and Political Science from the University of California, Berkeley.

Chay Zhu, MS, CPHQ
Specialist
Chay's primary responsibilities include data analysis and care pathway redesign. She has held various roles within the UCLA Health System and brings experience in managing clinical operations, research, data analytics, and project management. Chay earned a B.S. in Health Science Administration from San Jose State University and an M.S. in Health Care Management from California State University, Los Angeles.

Tracie Wymer, MS, RD
Specialist
Tracie joins UCLA with healthcare experience in both clinical and non-patient facing roles. Originally from Riverside, California Tracie attended California State University, Chico for her undergraduate studies in Food and Nutrition while working at the Center for Healthy Communities in health promotion outreach. She continued her education at San Diego State University, completing a Dual M.S. in Nutritional Science and Exercise Physiology. She became a Registered Dietitian working in the inpatient and ambulatory setting. At the start of the Covid-19 pandemic, she shifted into a Clinical Informaticist role- working with Epic systems in training and process improvement. Tracie now joins the Valu Care Redesign Team as a Value Improvement Specialist. She enjoys trying new restaurants, spending time outside and is learning how to surf.

Ahsen Pothiawala, MHA
Analyst
Ahsen joins UCLA as an early careerist having experience in hospital performance and transformation. Originally from Connecticut, Ahsen attended the University of Connecticut for his undergraduate studies in Healthcare Management and Insurance Studies. He then continued his education at the University of Southern California receiving a Master in Health Administration. He now joins the ValU Care Redesign Team as a Project Analyst.
