About
Gabriela Sauder, MD earned her medical degree from the University of Medicine "Gr. T. Popa" Iasi, Romania, and her BS in Psychology from the University of Bucharest, Romania. Prior to coming to the U.S, Dr. Sauder was a board-certified internal medicine physician, and a clinical instructor of medicine. In the U.S., she earned a MS in Nursing from UCLA in 2012, and completed her residency in Family Medicine at the University of California, Riverside in 2015. With a lifelong passion to help vulnerable and frail patients, Dr. Sauder pursued a fellowship in Geriatric Medicine at UCLA (2016 -2017). After her fellowship graduation in 2017, Dr. Sauder has joined UCLA Health. Her interests are related to healthy aging, memory loss and dementia, psychiatry in primary care, polypharmacy, gait impairment and falls in older adults, urinary incontinence, weight loss and malnutrition, and end-of-life care. As a trained geriatrician, Dr. Sauder offers a Home Visit Program for the sick, frail and bed-bound older patients who fulfill the enrollment criteria. In addition to English, Dr. Sauder speaks Spanish, German and Romanian.
