About
Dr. Katie Hu, M.D. obtained her B.A. degrees in both Political Science and Biology from Miami University of Ohio and her M.D. from Washington University in St. Louis. She completed her internship and residency at UCLA Department of Family Medicine in Santa Monica, California as well as a fellowship in Integrative East West Medicine at UCLA. She is currently licensed and boarded in Family Medicine as well as Integrative Medicine. Her aspiration and philosophy has always been the care of the whole patient, both mind and body taken in context. She has since completed her fellowship in East-West Primary Care in 2017 and is helping to build a patient-centered medical home at the UCLA Center for East-West Medicine. She is also the current East West fellowship program director, course chair for UCLA’s 1st and 2nd year medical student integrative medicine selective, as well as a previous co-course chair for a UCLA undergraduate summer course in integrative medicine. She is dedicated to teaching students and the broader community about integrative medicine. Her professional interests include herbal supplements and teaching, and her hobbies include traveling and eating delicious food.
While Dr. Katie Hu’s primary care practice is full, she continues to see new patients through East West Medicine consultative practice.
