The Adult Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) and Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) in the Resnick Neuropsychiatric Hospital at UCLA provide psychiatric services for adults with acute mental illness. We offer an active treatment program that serves as a transition from our alternative to inpatient hospitalization. 

Adult PHP and IOP are group-based, voluntary programs that support individuals in their recovery with the goal to assist patients in achieving the highest level of independence. Our treatment program is time-limited and offers intensive, coordinated and structured clinical services within a safe and stable therapeutic environment.
