Dr. Kalay earned his Medical Degree at the Keck School of Medicine at USC. He joins us after completing residency at UC Davis San Joaquin General Hospital, following his Surgical Internship at Huntington Memorial Hospital. His medical interests are Preventive Care, Cosmetic Dermatology and Office Surgery. He is fluent in Hebrew and can speak Medical Spanish. He enjoys cinema, home renovation, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.

Dr Ronan Kalay was absolutely amazing! He right away new what I had and how to treat me. I know what I'm saying may not mean much considering he is a professional, but nobody have any idea of how many friends and family members I know who has been miss diagnosed with something that were even more simple than my problem. He was patient and kind. Definitely made feel comfortable. Some doctors make us feel like it is our fault for being sick and I didn't get that from him. Thank you Dr Kalay and the entire team at UCLA.

A nurse did an EKG, which she took to Dr’ Kalay for okay. Then I met with Dr. Kalay, discussed how he helped my headaches, and how his care led me to uncover the cause of the headaches and sinus infection. After consulting with Dr. Kalay zi had blood drawn next door. All this care was in preparation for an upcoming sinus surgery.

Dr. Kalay has been helping me with frequent headaches due to allergy/sinus issues. I saw him this visit because I had a terrible headache that actually made doing daily chores impossible; Dr. Kalay gave me a Rx for methylprednisone and recommended other OTC meds that I should use.

Dr Kalay explained the cause of the pain in my right leg. Feels like sciatica but not. The pain is coming from the muscle. He recommended injection into the muscle like acupuncture. He said I should be able to find relief after the injection and with the anti-inflammatory meds and muscle relaxant.

As always, excellent care and customer service at UCLA Woodland Hills.I checked in online and was shown to a room almost immediately when I arrived. The offices are clean and welcoming, staff are friendly and professional. I was then seen by Dr Kalay just a few minutes later, he took the time to explain everything to me and was able to refer me to a specialist. All in all a great experience.

Seemed dismissive of my concerns. Kept looking at my boyfriend when talking and not me when I was the patient. I know I didn’t go in for something extreme or life threatening, but it’s unusual and concerning to me. I felt completely invalidated and like I was wasting his time.

The Dr. was very knowledgeable and answered all of my questions. But the whole visit felt rushed and to answer a simple question afterwards required 3 F/U's.

Dr. Kalay as usual, is professional, courteous, and kind. I appreciate that he'll take the little bit of extra time to hear me out on my issues so I can doy best to give him the full picture. The office staff/Nurses are also top-notch and I always appreciate everyone's patience with me, as well as their support in helping me get myself help.
