If a person is infected with COVID-19 and recovers, are they immune?

No, someone who recovers from COVID-19 is not immune from future infection. Scientists are currently studying how long immunity might last after a COVID-19 infection.

What is herd immunity?

Herd immunity is when enough of a population has built up immunity to a virus that it can no longer easily spread.
