Dr. Sandra Vizireanu was born in the beautiful beach city of Constanta, Romania and moved to Westlake Village, California at the age of 8. The first physician in a family of engineers, she graduated with BA degrees in Integrative Biology and Anthropology from the University of California, Berkeley, then received her MD from Drexel University College of Medicine, Philadelphia. Returning to Los Angeles to be with her family, she completed her residency in Family Medicine at the UCLA Santa Monica Medical Center. Following graduation, she worked with Emergent Medical Associates gaining extensive experience in emergency and urgent care medicine. Dr. Vizireanu joined UCLA Health with the intent to emphasize the importance of preventative medicine, healthy lifestyle choices, and an integrative therapeutic approach to illness.
