The UCLA Mattel Children’s Hospital Pediatric Diabetes Program is dedicated to providing your child and your family a multi-disciplinary individualized approach to treatment of your child’s diabetes. We treat children from birth through 21 years old. Our Endocrinology team works with you to manage your diabetes care outpatient and during hospitalizations at UCLA Mattel Children’s Hospital or Santa Monica UCLA Hospital. An integral part of your child living a fulfilling life with diabetes is balancing self-management of the diabetes with a healthy lifestyle to reduce the risk of associated complications through diagnostic evaluation, acute treatment, long term treatment, and follow-up care.
