Just wanted to thank Dr. Murphy for always being so patient and thoughtful. She always takes her time at the appointment and doesn't make you feel like she's rushing off to her next patient and that is appreciated. She takes the time to make sure she answers all your questions. Kisha her nurse was also very friendly and made you feel very comfortable. Thanks everyone for making it a great visit.

Dr. Ram really listened. I had no sense of being hurried in my video appointment with him. And he treated me with gentleness, respect.and kindness, while not being afraid to express his own views and beliefs I always try to use alternative medicine to solve my health issues and he seemed to understand and open to that, as well as having strictly medical solutions..

Dear Dr.Harari,
On Thursday July 9th you operated on my husband Phil S. for thyroid cancer. I want to thank you for all you have done, as Phil just let me know this morning, Saturday July 11, that the surgery had already taken place, I was expecting next week! Phil let me know that it all went well! I understand the opportunity to have it several days ago was sudden from what he said, and he chose not to let anyone know, family or his office staff. Phil and I have been living apart the last several weeks as he has wanted to be close to his Culver City office associated with Sony Studios and to be near UCLA for surgery, and not deal with me and my concern at this time. While this has been difficult for me not having him here at our home and to help him pre and post surgery, he is doing what makes him comfortable for now.
I come from a UCLA family, my brother doing all 7 years there including Law School, and I attended grad school in Costume Design (I am a Costume Designer for TV) so I am familiar with the greatness of this wonderful institution and especially the hospital and medical staff.
Again, I thank you from the bottom of my heart. I write thank you notes to people all the time for everything, I am certainly writing to the doctor who helps to save my husband's life! 😊 I look forward to meeting you if Phil has any post-op visits and if he invites me to come along, in light of Covid restrictions.

Jamie went above duties to bring me very gentle care despite a personal event bringing her pain. My gratitude is beyond measure as I know that can at times be difficult. She is an amazing and kind nurse that oversaw my single left lung transplant.

Ryann made our whole night easier. It's tough to keep a toddler stable and more so happy during a trip to the ER. She went above and beyond and made sure that Iris felt comfortable and happy. So much so that when we left to go to the OR Iris was asking for Ryann and if she could come. We are extremely grateful for everyone that helped take care of Iris. Thank you!

I think she was the nurse who was my sonographer who did my stress echocardiogram exam. She had really great bedside manner. She seemed like she actually cared about my experience. I told her the hospital robes were too small since I am plus size and they don't have any large ones for all body sizes (which I recommend they look into) she even found some tape and helped me tape the front so I would not be bare with my breasts hanging out. During the exam she even put a towel on me for modesty. She went the extra step to make sure I was comfortable and that she cared about how I was feeling. She asked how I was doing and was really nice to me during an uncomfortable exam. She was personable and I appreciated that.

The staff at lab on La Venta in WLV is doing an outstanding job. Today was a very busy day yet movement was well orchestrated. The phlebotomists are always successful drawing blood from my scarred veins (chemo). Kudos to this UCLA team!

My daughter, a student/athlete at UCLA, was having a wrist surgery on July 1st 2020. I was calling from Europe trying to find out how she was and extremely worried because the surgery had taken a lot longer and I had not heard anything about her condition. After several failed attempts To get through I was fortunate to have Eve (operator 43) answer my call. Eve was an absolute angel. She is amazingly professional, extremely courteous as well as polite and absolutely determined to provide top service. I knew that she was going to make sure we got to find out if our daughter was well. Eve's entire conduct was exceptional and I am in no doubt that she is one in a million. She is a true asset to the hospital and performs her job well beyond the call of duty. A true testimony to the entire legacy of the place!

My son's doctor is Dr. Ly and he is just the sweetest, most attentive and comforting pediatrician I think we've every worked with. He's smart, so friendly and takes the time to listen to my son and I. He explains in depth any situation we're experiencing and the steps we'll need to take together to solve it. He has new and current opinions about mostly anything I bring up and very interested to remain connected about any situation my son is dealing with no matter how small it may be. It's such a relief to find a good pediatrician that not only connects with the child...and the parent...but one that your child likes and has no problem when it's time to see the doctor. That's a gem right there!
