The Basic and Clinical Sciences Course is one of the core components of the educational curriculum for ophthalmology residents. The Course is open to ophthalmologists in the community who want a good review the fundamentals of ophthalmology. Sections of the American Academy of Ophthalmology book series of the same name are presented in a three-year cycle. Scheduled on Wednesday mornings from 7:00am pm to 8:00am during the academic year, the Basic and Clinical Science Course is held in the Center for Health Sciences.
