•    Global health including climate change and disaster preparedness

•    Health equity, health disparities and structural racism

Students will partner with a faculty mentor and a community advisor in designing a Discovery Project, which the students will lead. The HSR faculty will provide regular seminars to provide students basic skills that complement their hands-on Discovery project.  Students are expected to be first author on at least one manuscript summarizing their project findings and submit it to a peer-reviewed scientific journal.
