Pediatric Infectious Diseases

The mission of the Pediatric Infectious Diseases Division at UCLA Mattel Children's Hospital is to improve the health of today's and tomorrow's children by working to better diagnose, more effectively treat, and prevent infectious diseases throughout our global community.

All our physicians are nationally and internationally recognized and together, provide state of the art treatment and prevention for infectious diseases of children and adolescents, conduct leading edge research, and train future leaders in the field of pediatric infectious diseases.

We diagnose, treat and manage a wide range of conditions and offer expert services in travel medicine, vaccines, infections in immunocompromised children and congenital or acquired neonatal infections. Some of the common conditions we treat include:
