UCLA Urology Book Club: UCLA Urology aims to create a culture of inclusion and incorporate diverse views, cultures, and experiences amongst the department’s members. The department will be distributing two books each academic year in order to implement consistent, ongoing learning and encourage dialogue all year long. The first book being distributed is Stamped from the Beginning: The Definitive History of Racist Ideas in America by Ibram X. Kendi. 

Resources: Urologists for Equity is committed to promoting diversity, equity and inclusion in urology through advocacy, sponsorship, scholarship, and engagement. Stanley K. Frencher, Jr., MD, MPH, Assistant Professor-in-Residence of UCLA Urology and Medical Director of Outcomes and Quality at Martin Luther King Jr. Community Hospital, and Mark S.
