Some differences between ACG, ISSA/SHEA C. difficile recommendations (August 27, 2021)
Clinicians have two updated sets of recommendations for managing patients with Clostridioides difficile infection (CDI), and there are some notable differences to consider. Berkeley Limketkai, MD, PhD, director of clinical research, Center for Inflammatory Bowel Diseases, provides commentary on treatment with fidaxomicin and prevention with bezlotoxumab, FMT.
