The goal of the UCLA Vatche and Tamar Manoukian Division of Digestive Diseases is to create a Center of Excellence that will lead the country in innovative investigations and treatments, ultimately improving the lives of generations of people. The primary focus of the Center for Obesity and METabolic Health (COMET) is to stay on the cutting edge of research into molecular and genetic mechanisms underlying adaptations to obesity, including the consequences of weight loss on clinical outcomes.
Thanks in part to an initial gift to the metabolic syndrome research program and initial grant funding, COMET is on the path to become a global leader.
We invite you to join our community of supporters. There are many ways to give. Gifts can be made with cash, securities, real estate, art, or other tangible assets and directed to either our greatest needs or to specific research, training, laboratory, recruitment, or treatment programs. Donations also can be made in honor of a specific individual.
If you would like to make a gift or learn more about giving, please contact:

In advance, thank you for your support!
