Chronic Pelvic Pain & Vulvar Pain Program

The UCLA Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology provides comprehensive assessment and management for chronic pelvic pain and vulvar pain.

Dr. Andrea Rapkin, the founder and director of the UCLA Pelvic Pain program.

Dr. Andrea Rapkin, the founder and director of the UCLA Pelvic Pain program and has been in the vanguard of pelvic pain research and treatment for over 20 years.

The multi-disciplinary pelvic pain program brings together the expertise of gynecology, anesthesiology, physical therapy, and psychology for the treatment of complex pelvic pain disorders, such as vulvodynia and vestibulodynia.

  • Treatment of muscular and neuropathic components of pain
