About

Dr. Gifty-Maria Ntim is a primary care physician who is board certified in both internal medicine and pediatrics. She practices in Santa Clarita, and considers it a privilege to be able to care for a patients of all ages, from newborns to the elderly.

Originally from Ghana, Dr. Ntim received her medical degree from St. George’s University School of Medicine in Grenada. She then completed her residency in internal medicine and pediatrics at Tulane University.

Prior to coming to UCLA, Dr. Ntim served as medical director for APLA Health, which stands for the AIDS Project Los Angeles. Before that, she was a staff physician at the Antelope Valley Community Clinic in Palmdale.

Dr. Ntim has received several awards related to her professional work and community service. She is an active fellow of both the American Academy of Pediatrics and the American College of Physicians.

Dr Ntim is a life saver on my book. I already was in health crisis when she took over me as a patient from another pcp that left UCLA. She immediately has provided such a thorough and personable care which I have not experienced prior to Dr Ntim. Then my mother’s death came which accompanied with deep mental crisis along with health challenges. With her care, I was able to obtain proper mental health care of which i have made a dramatic improvement throughout last four years and am on the way to achieve my physical well being. I owe her a great deal of gratitude. Doctor like her does not come around often. I know because we (as in my friends and other family members talk about their pcps). She is the best clinician as well as a person.
