Singleton Neuro-Trauma 6ICU at Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center

Respiratory Therapists (RT) assigned to work in 6ICU at Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center assess and treat patient’s pulmonary status and disorders.

RT collaborates with a multidisciplinary group of professionals at a level I trauma center including:

  • Nursing
  • Neurocritical Care
  • Neurosurgery & Neurology
  • Pulmonary & Critical Care
  • Trauma & Surgery
  • Anesthesiology
  • Pharmaceutical Services
  • Case managers
  • Social and Rehabilitation Services

This collaboration also includes but is not limited to:

  • The Traumatic Brain Injury Research Center
  • The Cerebral Blood Flow Laboratory
  • Radiology
  • Nuclear Medicine

The ICU setting is very dynamic and ideal for the Respiratory Therapist who enjoys high acuity critical care setting.
