LIFT-UP is part of BRIDGES (Bringing Resources to Increase Diversity, Growth, Equity, and Scholarship for Obesity, Nutrition, and Diabetes Research), a collaborative consortium consisting of four independent programs designed to support post-doctoral scholars and early career faculty from diverse backgrounds, including groups that are underrepresented in biomedical and behavioral research. Our mission is to advance career development in the fields of nutrition, obesity, diabetes, and related conditions. The BRIDGES Consortium is supported by the NIH Office of Disease Prevention, NIH Office of Nutrition Research, NIH Office of Behavioral and Social Sciences Research (https://obssr.od.nih.gov/), and the NIH Chief Officer for Scientific Workforce Diversity
