The UCLA Children's Discovery and Innovation Institute (CDI) promotes Child Health Research programs to connect all research and training activities related to understanding pediatric diseases and improving children's health and health care. Programs include monthly seminars and an annual symposium.
The purpose of the monthly “Third Thursdays” CDI Scientific Seminar Series is to provide an interactive forum to share and stimulate research ideas which we hope will generate collaborative team science grant applications for innovative and translational child health research.
The Annual Children’s Discovery and Innovation Institute (CDI) Symposium brings together many UCLA investigators from multiple research disciplines for the advancement of Child Health Research. In addition to featuring an outside keynote speaker, the symposium includes UCLA scientists from Pediatrics as well as other departments and centers to highlight the latest scientific research on pediatric disease and health.
