Acquired, or autoimmune, blistering disorders are conditions in which linkages between the epidermis and dermis in the skin and mucous membranes become compromised. This results in the development of potentially widespread blisters and ulcerations. The Acquired Blistering Disorders (Immunobullous Disease) Clinic is supervised by Dr. Vanessa Holland, our current residency program director in the Division of Dermatology.
