Research
Research is a high priority among many of our residents. Residents are surveyed about their academic interests at the beginning of residency. Those who are interested in research are connected with the subspecialty departments of their choice. Each subspecialty department has a designated Research Champion, a faculty member who meets with residents and connects each individual to research faculty within the department. This process ensures that residents who have a primary focus in research have opportunities to take part in research projects early on in residency.
