The Adult Congenital Heart Disease Center at UCLA was founded in 1980 by Dr. Joseph K. Perloff, with the collaboration of Dr. John Child and nurse specialist Mary Canobbio.

This year 2020 marks the 40th anniversary of the Center and we will commemorate this occasion with a tribute to the History of ACHD at UCLA on Sunday, September 27.

Featrured speakers will include: Dr. Hillel Laks, Dr. John Child, Dr. Jamil Aboulhosn, Dr. Glen Van Arsdell, Dr. Kevin Shannon, Mary Canobbio and Pam Miner.
