I went to see my primary care physician for my physical. I told her I would like to have an ultrasound of my carotid artery because I had a 20 percent blockage. She did the test and found out that I had a nodule on the right side of my thyroid. She ordered for me to have an ultrasound done on it. They found out my left thyroid had 2 large nodules and several others ones on the right side. They did a natal biopsy on my thyroid and should take out the left side. They did a DNA test on my rest side and the nodule came back benign. I decided to have the whole thyroid removed. During the thyroidectomy they noticed one parathyroid was abnormal and also removed that. The staff at the hospital was amazing. Dr. Livhitz was amazing throughout the whole process. Sarah K. was also really good too. I had a really happy experience with this.
