UCLA Health article

My story is that I was diagnosed with Primary Hyperthyroidism by my primary care doctor and the VA. I read up on the disease, and became familiar with it. Meanwhile, My blood calcium levels were increasing, and my vitamin D level was decreasing. I was heading for trouble. I decided to research it, and came up with Dr. Michael Yeh and Dr. Marsha Livhits names at UCLA. I called Maya and started the ball rolling. I faxed her over all my medical records. Dr. Livhits called me personally, and we chatted on the phone. To make a long story short, I had the corrective surgery with Dr. Livhits on May 17, 2018. It was the best decision I could have made. She did a terrific job and removed three and one half parathyroid tumors. After that, everything settled down and is returning to normal. In conclusion, I encourage anyone with Parathyroid problems to seek out Dr. Yeh and Dr. Livhits. They are truly gifted and expert surgeons in this field. Please do not wait. The good news is this disease is curable at 98% rate and most tumors are benign. You won't be sorry you did. Hope this helps!!
