SBSM 20th anniversary thank you

From breaking a sweat while playing during the reception, to listening to the many ways our program has changed the lives of our school partners, our 20th Anniversary Celebration was a perfect blend of gratitude and fun. The evening included senior leadership at UCLA Health, and was emceed by ESPN personalities Max Kellerman and Michelle Beadle. Guests of our celebration enjoyed a performance by Palms Middle School ballet folklorico, as well as a keynote by Los Angeles Sparks President and COO Christine Simmons. All of us at UCLA Health Sound Body Sound Mind would like to extend our thanks to those who attended on October 4!

Thank you to all of our generous sponsors and donors, our hard-working teachers and administrators, and our incredible staff (past and present) – for committing themselves to the youth of Los Angeles for over 20 years. At the end of the 2018-2019 school year, we will have installed fitness centers in more than 150 schools, impacting more than 750,000 students since our organization’s inception. Our goal is to build on the momentum and continue to partner with schools in preparing their students for a lifetime of healthy habits.
