PASE Program

Projects

PASE is involved in several projects in the United States and internationally, all focused on improving access to equitable surgical and trauma care. Our work looks at the barriers that prevent people from receiving timely care and develops practical ways to strengthen the systems that serve them. These projects range from trauma research and training to community based programs and improvements in patient care. Together, they reflect PASE’s commitment to reducing disparities and ensuring that more people can receive the surgical and emergency care they need.

PASE projects currently include:

  • Sustainable Trauma Research, Education, and Mentorship Program (STREaM)
  • Data Science Center for the Study of Surgery, Injury, and Equity in Africa (D-SINE Africa)
  • Smartphone Ultrasonography for Trauma Patients
