This NIH Fogarty International Center-funded project aims to implement a data-driven prehospital lay first responder program in Cameroon to enhance trauma care. Led by Dr. Sabrinah Ariane Christie, the project focuses on developing a scalable model for lay first responders to provide timely prehospital care, addressing critical gaps in emergency response systems in low-resource settings. The initiative is supported by a collaboration with the University of Buea and is part of a broader effort to reduce trauma-related morbidity and mortality.
