Medical Student Program

UCLA Urology considers its mission of teaching and training medical students as an integral part of its overall academic mission. We welcome medical student participation in the operating room, in the ambulatory clinics, and in our many research endeavors.  UCLA medical students can participate in rotations at our five hospitals that have active and busy urology programs: Ronald Regan Medical Center, Santa Monica Hospital, the Wadsworth Veterans Affairs Hospital, the Harbor-UCLA Medical Center, and the Olive View Medical Center. Medical Student Program >

As part of its commitment to high-impact education, UCLA Urology convened an important Grand Rounds session for faculty, residents, students and staff to examine the issue of racism and its destructive impact on medical professionals, patients and society in general. As a result of these presentations, the Department created a committee to direct meaningful change within the Department that will forward its commitment to equality.
