The School of Chinese Medicine at Hong Kong Baptist University is a leading institution dedicated to advancing the field of Chinese medicine through excellence in education, research, and healthcare services. We offer a comprehensive range of high-quality programmes, from undergraduate to postgraduate levels, including MPhil and PhD degrees, to cultivate the next generation of professionals and researchers in Chinese medicine.

At the forefront of scientific research, the School is home to 12 affiliated research institutes and centres, focusing on Innovative Drug Discovery and Development Based on Chinese Medicines, with a particular emphasis on three key areas: (1) Precision Medicine and Phenomics; (2) Translational Medicine and Innovative Drug Discovery; and (3) Authentication and Testing of Chinese Medicines.

With a network of 15 Chinese medicine clinics across Hong Kong, including eight directly managed clinics and seven collaborative clinics with the Hospital Authority and non-profit organisations, the School provides a robust platform for clinical research, evidence-based practice, and student training, ultimately enhancing the quality of Chinese medicine healthcare services in the community.
