Clinic Overview

UCLA Student Behavioral Health Services (BHS) is a program that provides comprehensive and compassionate medication management and therapy services to UCLA students who are enrolled in the Student Health Insurance Plan (SHIP) and have been referred to us through Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS).

Our team treats both undergraduate and graduate students who need ongoing care for a variety of mental health disorders, which include but are not limited to depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, eating disorders, substance abuse disorders, personality disorders, PTSD, OCD, and schizophrenia.

We offer one of two different tracks of therapy dependent on assessment of student need along with unlimited medication management. The mode of therapy treatment consists of both individual and group sessions.  Most groups are scheduled to correspond to the UCLA quarter system. We currently offer the following therapy groups: Mentalization Based Therapy (MBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Anxiety, Graduate Process, A Good Night’s Sleep, and Trauma Skills.
