Physical and Occupational Therapy
Physical and Occupational Therapy aims to return improve body movement or full function after injury or illness using methods such as kinesiology, manual therapy, exercise therapy, and electrotherapy. Physical Therapy (PT) treats the body while Occupational Therapy (OT) focuses on the hands and arms.
Outpatient Rehabilitation uses physical therapy (PT) and occupational therapy (OT) to help patients return to a previous level of function or heal from an injury. Learn more >
Inpatient Acute Rehabilitation helps patients (of all ages and diagnoses) admitted to the hospital with physical therapy (PT) and/or occupational therapy (OT) treatment return to their previous level of function. Treatment is scheduled upon receipt of an order from the referring physician. Specialty services are provided to pediatric and neonatal intensive care (NICU) populations. Learn more >

- Pelvic Floor
- Staying Active and Independent Living (S.A.I.L.)
- Hand Therapy Program staffed by experienced therapists, including certified hand therapists (CHT), who specialize in the treatment of hand and upper extremity injuries. The goal of therapy is to address each individual's goals and needs, decrease/manage pain, diminish deficits due to injury/condition and promote healing and return the individual to optimal functional status.
The Cardiac and Pulmonary Rehabilitation takes a comprehensive approach to cardiac and pulmonary rehabilitation utilizing a multidisciplinary team of professionals including registered nurses, registered respiratory therapists, exercise physiologists, certified exercise specialists and registered dieticians under the supervision of our medical directors. Prosthetics and Orthotics evaluates, measures, fabricates, and fits patients with artificial limbs and braces. Patients include those with neuromuscular and musculoskeletal disorders and those who have experienced amputation, trauma, and surgical procedures. The prosthetic and orthotic devices are fabricated and fit at our facility using state-of-the-art designs and componentry. Learn more >

UCLA Health is proud to offer Dr. Dean Ornish's Lifestyle Medicine, the only scientifically proven program to stop the progression and even reverse the effects of heart disease. The UCLA Health Ornish Lifestyle Medicine outpatient program consists of sessions on stress management, emotional group support, and exercise while enjoying a nutritious plant-based meal.
