The Division of Geriatrics in the Department of Medicine at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA is seeking applications for Clinician-Investigator positions at the Instructor or Assistant Professor ranks. Rank and step commensurate with experience. The successful applicant is expect to conduct research and submit research grants leading to independence as an investigator. The position will include various amounts of ambulatory primary care, consultation practice, inpatient and consult attending responsibilities in the UCLA Healthcare System. Other responsibilities will include teaching UCLA medical students, medicine housestaff, and geriatric fellows.

An M.D. or D.O. is required. Applicants must be board eligible or board certified in Geriatrics and have advanced research training.

The positions will include various amounts of ambulatory primary care and consultation practice and inpatient and consult attending responsibilities. Other responsibilities will include teaching UCLA medical students, medicine house-staff, and geriatric fellows. Positions may be based at the main UCLA campus in Westwood, community-based practices in greater Los Angeles, or at Olive View Medical Center, a county-health center in the San Fernando Valley.
