The UCLA Goldberg Migraine Program in the Department of Neurology at the University of California, Los Angeles is recruiting for a new faculty position for basic and clinical research, teaching, and patient care in headache medicine.
The successful applicant must have expertise and experience with functional imaging of patients with headache disorders, as well as the design and execution of clinical trials. The applicant must currently hold a position of assistant professor or higher. Candidates with an M.D , Ph.D., or both degrees will be considered.The applicant will perform research studies involving imaging of headache disorders, participate in the supervision of clinical trials of new therapies, teach trainees and colleagues at all levels, and see patients within the UCLA Goldberg Migraine Program. The applicant will work with the program to optimize the administration of existing and novel therapies for headache disorders in both the outpatient and inpatient settings.

The Department of Neurology at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA is seeking an outstanding Neurologist Physician-Scientist in clinical or basic research at UCLA. We welcome candidates whose experience in teaching, research, or community service has prepared them to contribute to our commitment to diversity and excellence.
This individual will work in clinical care and basic research in the mechanisms of neurological disease. The clinician-scientist will conduct either bench or clinical research as the predominant component of this position, and also see patients for a fraction of time. This position is generally posted within the field of neurology, and might fit within one of its subspecialties, such as epilepsy, movement disorders, neurogenetics, neurophysiology or other subspecialities. The position also involves teaching of residents and clinical fellows rotating through the clinics.
The Candidate must have an MD and be Board Certified/Board Eligible in Neurology and have had subspecialty training in some aspect of neurology.
The appropriate series and appointment at the Assistant Professor. Salary is commensurate with qualifications and based on University of California pay scales.
